Welcome to Jyl ("we", "us", "our"). By using our website and services at jyl.app, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Service Description

Jyl is an automated job application service that helps Working Holiday Visa (WHV) holders find farm employment in Australia. Our service includes:

• AI-generated personalized job application emails sent to farms from your Gmail account.
• CV attachment to outgoing emails.
• Campaign tracking and email logs via your dashboard.

Jyl is not an employment agency. We do not guarantee employment, job offers, or responses from farms. We provide a tool that automates the application process on your behalf.

2. Eligibility

To use Jyl, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Hold or be applying for a valid Australian Working Holiday Visa (subclass 417 or 462).
• Have a valid Google account with Gmail.
• Provide accurate and truthful information in your campaign profile.

3. Account & Google OAuth

• You sign in using Google OAuth2. We do not store passwords.
• You authorize Jyl to send emails on your behalf via the Gmail API (gmail.send scope only).
• You are responsible for maintaining access to your Google account.
• You can revoke Jyl's access at any time from your Google Account permissions.

4. Campaigns & Payments

• Each campaign is a one-time purchase. There are no subscriptions or recurring charges.
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never store your card details.
• Once payment is confirmed, your campaign will begin processing automatically.
• Emails are sent progressively over a 48-72 hour window to comply with Gmail's sending policies.
• Campaign progress is visible in real-time on your dashboard.

5. Email Content & Responsibility

• Emails are generated by AI (Claude) based on the information you provide during campaign setup.
• Each email is personalized for the specific farm, mentioning their name, location, and relevant details.
• Emails are sent from your Gmail account. You are the sender of record.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide (name, experience, qualifications, etc.).
• You agree not to use Jyl to send misleading, fraudulent, or offensive content.

6. Gmail Usage & Safety

• We send emails progressively (not all at once) to stay within Gmail's daily sending limits.
• Each email is unique to avoid spam detection.
• We use only the gmail.send scope -- we never read, modify, or delete your existing emails.
• While we take precautions, we cannot guarantee that Google will never apply sending restrictions to your account. By using Jyl, you acknowledge this risk.

7. Refund Policy

Our refund policy is detailed on our Refund Policy page. In summary:

• Full refund if our system fails to deliver your emails due to a technical error on our end.
• No refund based on the number of farm responses, as replies are not guaranteed.

8. Intellectual Property

• The Jyl brand, website design, code, and AI-generated content are our intellectual property.
• You retain ownership of all personal data you provide (CV, profile information).
• Generated email content is created for your use and may be used by farms as they see fit.

9. Data & Privacy

Your use of Jyl is subject to our Privacy Policy. By using our service, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described therein.

10. Limitation of Liability

• Jyl is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• We are not liable for any damages resulting from the use of our service, including but not limited to: loss of employment opportunities, Gmail account restrictions, or any indirect damages.
• Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific campaign in question.

11. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use Jyl for any purpose other than legitimate job applications to farms.
• Provide false or misleading personal information.
• Attempt to circumvent our sending limits or security measures.
• Resell or redistribute our service.
• Use automated tools to interact with our platform beyond normal usage.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. In case of termination for violation, no refund will be provided for active campaigns.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users via email. Continued use of Jyl after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New South Wales, Australia.
