Refund Policy

Jyl ("we", "us", "our") wants every customer to have a positive experience. This refund policy outlines when you are eligible for a refund and the conditions that apply.
1. What We Deliver
When you purchase a campaign on Jyl, you are paying for the following service:
- AI-generated personalized job application emails sent to farms on your behalf.
- Each email is uniquely crafted for the specific farm using Claude AI.
- Your CV is attached to every email.
- Emails are sent progressively from your Gmail account over a 48-72 hour window.
You are paying for the delivery of personalized emails, not for guaranteed employment outcomes or farm responses.
2. When You Are Eligible for a Refund
You may request a full refund in the following situations:
- System failure: If our system fails to send your emails due to a technical error on our end (server outage, bug in our code, etc.).
- Significant under-delivery: If we deliver fewer than 80% of the emails included in your plan due to our system errors (not due to Gmail token expiration or account issues on your end).
- Duplicate charge: If you were charged multiple times for the same campaign by mistake.
- Campaign not started: If your campaign has not started processing within 48 hours of payment and we cannot resolve the issue.
3. When Refunds Are Not Available
We cannot offer refunds in the following cases:
- No responses from farms: Farm replies depend on many factors outside our control, including seasonality, location, farm staffing needs, your profile, and market conditions. We deliver the emails -- responses are not guaranteed.
- Gmail access revoked: If you revoke Jyl's access to your Gmail account during an active campaign, preventing us from sending remaining emails.
- Inaccurate profile information: If you provided incorrect or misleading information in your campaign setup.
- Change of mind: If you simply change your mind after emails have started sending.
- Gmail token expiration: If your Google OAuth token expires and you do not reconnect your account when notified.
4. Partial Refunds
In some cases, we may offer a partial refund at our discretion:
- If a campaign is partially completed due to a system error and cannot be restarted.
- The partial refund will be proportional to the number of unsent emails.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please contact us within 14 days of your purchase:
- Email: support@jyl.app
- Include your email address, campaign details, and the reason for your refund request.
- We will review your request and respond within 3 business days.
Refunds are processed via Stripe to the original payment method. Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.
6. Our Commitment
We stand behind our service. If something goes wrong on our end, we'll make it right. Our goal is to deliver every email we promise -- personalized, on time, and from your Gmail account. If we fail to do that, you deserve your money back.
